Smucker's Launches Frozen Crumb Pies Through Golden West Partnership Brokered by Brand Central

The desserts feature real fruit fillings and require no thawing, going straight from freezer to oven in four varieties starting this October.

The J.M. Smucker Company, in partnership with licensee Golden West Food Group, is launching a line of ready-to-bake fruit crumb pies in the frozen dessert aisle. The licensing partnership was brokered by Brand Central, the licensing agency representing The J.M. Smucker Company.

The new Smucker's Crumb Pies will launch in four flavors: Apple, Mixed Berry, Cherry and Peach.

Each pie combines real fruit fillings, golden crumb toppings and crusts to create a dessert that requires no thawing and goes straight from freezer to oven.

• The Apple Crumb Pie is made with real apple slices and warm spices, topped with a crumb topping and paired with a flaky crust.

• The Mixed Berry Crumb Pie features a combination of five real berries: blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cranberries.

• The Cherry Crumb Pie is made with real sweetened cherries, finished with a crumb topping and crust.

• The Peach Crumb Pie is made with real peaches, topped with a golden crumb topping and crust.

Each 30-ounce Smucker's Crumb Pie features seven servings and contains no artificial dyes or high-fructose corn syrup.

Smucker's Crumb Pies will begin rolling out at select retailers in October, with additional retail distribution anticipated as the line expands, including Food Lion and Hannaford. Availability and assortment will vary by retailer and location.
